New 6 section testing tank in reinforced cement:

 

1° section: Testing electric submersible pumps with capacities reaching 2000 m3/h and automatic coupling systems from DN 150 – DN300 using magnetic measuring instruments. Testing submersible mixers for the exerted power and electrical characteristics. Dimensions 15m x 3m x h=5m.

 

2° section: Testing electric submersible propeller pumps with capacities reaching 10.000 m3/h with coupling systems up to DN 1.400 by using free-channel measuring device.

 

3° section: Testing submersible areators up to a depth of 6 m.

 

4° section: Testing submersible recirculation propeller pump with max. diameter Ø 800mm by using overflowing measurment technique.

 

5° section: Testing electric submersible pumps with capacities reaching 350 m3/h and automatic coupling systems from DN 80 – DN100 using magnetic measuring instruments.

 

6° section: Closed testing pressurizeable system up to DN 400, using magnetic measuring devices.


 

New testing tank called “Max Charter”; 22 metres long, 8 metres deep and 6 metres wide, completely in reinforced concrete equipment to test propeller pumps, mixers and arial jets, external pumps, NPSH and immersion pumps up to 500 Kw. This tank has led to the creation of agreements with some Italian and foreign university for training internship and degree theses in mechanical and hidraulic engineering.
